Sign Up for Pinterest
Pinterest is the number one platform you should be using to drive traffic to your blog. Especially if you are a new blogger and are not yet ranking on Google.
Pinterest has over 250 million monthly users! That is a lot of people you can get your blog content in front of.
To get the most out of Pinterest you should sign up for a business account. Pinterest business is free to sign up for and give you access to a lot of great resources.

Pin Multiple times per day
Now that you have signed up for a Pinterest business account, it is time to get pinning to get your content out there to be seen!
The first thing you need to do is create a variety of Pinterest boards related to your niche. Start with at least 10 boards. Make sure you create descriptions for each of your boards using keywords. This will make it easier for people to find your boards.
Once your boards are created you can start pinning to them. You need to pin your own content from your blog to these boards plus other peoples content.
Try and pin AT LEAST 30 pins prepay (your content and others combined).
Sign up for Tailwind
Tailwind is a platform that is approved to use with Pinterest. Tailwind allows you to schedule multiple pins per day of your content and others.

Use tailwind tribes
Sign up for tailwind tribes. They are an online community with other bloggers sharing content in a simile niche.
Basically, you share content to a tribe and there are other bloggers there that can reshare your content and pin it to their Pinterest boards.
Tribes are a great way to get your content in front of more people quickly.
Update your blog
Regularly update your blog, by creating new posts and updating old content. Google likes to see that your blog is regularly updated.
Use social media
Promoting your blog on social media platforms is a great way to show off your blog and gain more viewers.
These are the 3 social media accounts you should sign up for. As long as they fit in with your niche.
If you are a new blogger without a lot of time or understanding of social media. Start out with only one account and eventually use the others.
Or find a social media manager to help you with your social media accounts.
Search engine optimization (SEO) is extremely important to do if you want to get found through search engines and to rank higher on Google.
SEO is a major topic that I am not going to get into for this post. But key things to remember are:
- Use keywords throughout your blog post.
- Make sure your images have keywords in their titles and you are using alt tags.
- Use meta descriptions on all your blog post.
- Create great clickable blog titles with keywords
